John Warner is a fifth generation North Dakota farmer. He served in the North Dakota House from 1996-2004 and has since been in the North Dakota Senate.  He was a 1997 Bowhay Legislative Leadership Fellow, has served on the Legislative Council, House Agriculture. Finance and Taxation and Appropriations committees.  He is currently the lead Democrat on the Senate Human Services Committee and serves on the Political Subdivisions committee and chairman of the Democrat/NPL caucus in the Senate. John and his wife Janice are parents of four daughters and three granddaughters.
